Steven Gerrard says he adores midfielder Liverpool want to sign

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, Steven Gerrard has been waxing-lyrical about Jude Bellingham amid ongoing links to Liverpool.
The English midfielder has long been touted as a summer target for the Reds, and he’s received the seal of approval from a true Anfield legend.
Indeed, Gerrard named Bellingham in his top five midfielders on the planet right now, claiming that he absolutely loves the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

What’s been said?
Gerrard spoke about Bellingham.
“Last question, top five midfielders playing right now?” Ferdinand asked.
“Top five midfielders playing now? IN the Premier League or worldwide? Good question. I love Jude Bellingham, absolutely loving him, Kevin De Bruyne, these will be attacking players, Mason Mount I love what he’s doing. There’s three for you. Kovacic at Chelsea and then I’ll go with Fabinho at Liverpool and I love Rodri too,” Gerrard said.
Could manage him one day
With Liverpool interested in Bellingham and Jurgen Klopp admitting this week that Gerard could be the Reds’ manager one day, it stands to reason to believe that Stevie G could get his hands on the Dortmund midfielder one day.
The idea of Gerrard, arguably the greatest midfielder in Premier League history, mentoring a player like Bellingham is utterly mouth-watering. The Aston Villa boss certainly knows how to hone the talents of a midfielder like Bellingham, and with the Dortmund ace still being just a teenager, he has so much room to grow and improve.
Bellingham and Gerrard could work together at Anfield in the not so distant future, and that’s something for Liverpool supporters to be very excited about.
