Star Movies is an Asian pay television network owned by The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) and operated by Disney Star. The channel primarily broadcasts Hollywood films.

Star Movies originally launched as a single channel broadcasting across Asia, but has since been regionalized into various local channels. Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific has since rebranded some of the network’s international feeds in Hong Kong, Taiwan (SD feed only) and Southeast Asia as Fox Movies, but retains the Star Movies brand in Mainland China (Hong Kong), Taiwan (HD feed). , Middle East and South Asia (except Maldives).

Star India continues to operate the network’s Indian feed as a channel specializing in Western films, while the Middle Eastern feed operated by Fox Networks Group Middle East co-exists with Fox Movies. Taiwan’s Star Movies HD is operated by Disney Network Group Taiwan, which was Fox Movies Taiwan’s ad-free offering. However, from March 2021, Star Movies Taiwan began to have short commercial breaks between movies. Star Movies in the Middle East is operated by Fox Networks Group Middle East.
