As we approach the summer transfer window, that’s the question all Gooners are going to want to know.
In recent weeks, there’s been a mountain of speculation about Gabriel Jesus joining Arsenal from Manchester City and it was reported this week that Edu is even in advanced talks to get the deal done.
Strikers will be the order of the day for the North Londoners this summer, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both expected to be leaving the Emirates Stadium on free transfers.
But Arsenal could also sign a superstar for free this summer.
At least, that’s the claim of former Italian defender Massimo Brambati, who has told Tuttomercatoweb Radio that Edu and Mikel Arteta have an agreement with Juventus hitman Paulo Dybala – who has 144 career goals – to come.
On one condition.
He said: “I was told that if Arsenal go to the Champions League, Dybala has a contract ready with the English club to move to London.”
Will Arsenal qualify for Champions League?
Well, that’s the all-important question and the answer is….it’s in their hands.
Despite being hammered 3-0 at Tottenham Hotspur in midweek, Arsenal are still fourth in the Premier League with two games to go.
Problem is, Spurs could – and probably will – move fourth if they beat Burnley in North London tomorrow, while Arteta’s side aren’t back in action until Monday night with a difficult visit to Newcastle United.
The top-four race really is on a knife edge and you have to say, Spurs might be favourites from this point on.
Arsenal’s last game is home to Everton, while the Lilywhites are away to relegated Norwich City.
There’s no doubt that Tottenham have an easier final two matches in the Premier League and with Dybala also linked to Antonio Conte’s side, well there also may be transfer-related repercussions for finishing fifth.
