The transfer window is on horizon, and while there will be some exciting new additions across Europe, there will also be some sad goodbyes.
One player who is set to say goodbye to his club is Paulo Dybala. The Argentine announced on Instagram last week that he will be leaving Juventus, and on Monday, he played his final home game for the Old Lady.
While it’s entirely Dybala’s decision to leave the Turin-outfit, he’s leaving behind some great memories and he departs with an element of sadness.
In fact, the Argentine was in floods of tears when he came off against Lazio on Monday as he played his final home game for Juve.
Dybala seems gutted to be leaving, but a new adventure awaits, and that adventure may well be in north London.
The attacker has been strongly linked with both Tottenham and Arsenal in recent weeks. Spurs have even offered the Argentine a contract according to reports.
Of course, Dybala’s decision may well hinge on who qualifies for next season’s Champions League and after Arsenal’s slip-up against Newcastle on Monday, his path may have become that much more clear.
It remains to be seen where Dybala ends up, but after his tearful goodbye to the Juventus fans, we may find out sooner rather than later.
