Tottenham could be without Dejan Kulusevski against Burnley today with the Swedish winger suffering with illness.

Tottenham are back in Premier League action today as they host Burnley in another crucial clash.

Spurs beat Arsenal 3-0 on Thursday night to give themselves a real chance of Champions League football next season.

Tottenham still sit one point behind Arsenal and need to keep winning, hoping that the Gunners slip up in their final two games.

Arsenal only play Newcastle tomorrow, meaning Tottenham need to take care of business today against Burnley – but may have to do it without Kulusevski.

Tottenham could be without Dejan Kulusevski

Few injury issues have been reported at Tottenham ahead of today’s game but there could be a surprise illness.

Football London report that Kulusevski has been struggling with an illness in recent days but it isn’t anything related to COVID-19.

Tottenham will assess Kulusevski this morning and decide just how much football he can actually handle.

Kulusevski could start, but if Tottenham feel he isn’t well enough for that then he will be on the bench or even left out entirely.

That would mean a chance for either Lucas Moura or Steven Bergwijn down Tottenham’s right flank and you would assume Moura gets the nod.

This would be an enormous blow for Tottenham as Kulusevski has been outstanding since joining from Juventus in January.

Kulusevski has racked up three goals and eight assists in just 16 games for Tottenham.

Kulusevski has earned huge praise from all corners and has been hailed as ‘phenomenal’ by Rio Ferdinand.

Cutting in from the right flank on his left foot has given Tottenham a new dimension with his guile and creativity just perfect alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in attack.

Fans feared that the quick turnaround after beating Arsenal may hamper Tottenham and it may well be that Kulusevski ends up being the man to miss out today.
