The first MultiVersus Closed Alpha kicks off this week, with the official Warner Bros Sign Up still available.
But time is running out to have a chance at joining the big test before things begin this week, with less than 24-hours left before the Closed Alpha begins.
Here’s what we know so far regarding the launch of this week’s MultiVersus closed alpha and its scheduled release time.
When Does The MultiVersus Closed Alpha Start?
Having hosted tech tests earlier this year, the MultiVersus Closed Alpha is now scheduled to start at 5pm BST on Thursday, May 19, 2022. For gamers in North America, the same testing period kicks off at 9am PT. The good news is that there will be a lot of time to try out the content made available by Warner Bros, as the closed alpha will not finish until May 27.
That’s over a full week of MultiVersus action to enjoy before servers are shut down and the open beta begins during July 2022. For those hoping to get late entry, Registration for the Closed Alpha is currently open at MultiVersus.com. However, Warner Bros points out that signing up for registration does not guarantee entry as space is limited.
So the later you sign up, the less chance you will have to gain access to the new testing this week. The good news is that players can also gain access to the Closed Alpha by receiving a referral link from a user who has redeemed their Closed Alpha code.
After redeeming a Closed Alpha code, users can invite up to three friends to join the Closed Alpha. Users can do this by logging into their WB Games account at https://account.wbgames.com and following the below steps:
Select “Beta Management” from the left menu
Click the “Invite a Friend” button in the MultiVersus section
Copy the full URL and privately send to a friend.
It should be noted that Warner Bros have no plans to provide closed alpha codes using Twitch Drops at this time.
