Independent Television is a Bangladeshi Bangla-language privately owned satellite and cable 24-hour news television channel owned by Beximco, one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh. The channel started broadcasting on 28 July 2011 and is headquartered in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Independent News is responsible for news programming on Independent Television – and some documentary content – on general television channels, as well as news coverage on Bangladesh’s Independent News Channel.
