Season 2 possibilities

Even though Conversations with Friends was not billed as a miniseries, the cast and crew appear to be advocates of one season.

Speaking to TV Insider, executive producer Ed Guiney addressed the Season 1 conclusion:

“All our lives are unfinished stories until we shuffle off ultimately, and there’s something I think very satisfying and enriching about seeing someone’s experience for a moment in time. Undoubtedly, they’ll all go on to do fascinating things in some fictional universe.”

Additionally, E! News spoke to actor Sasha Lane about the audiences’ demand for closure:

“Everyone wants closure, and I’m like, ‘Yeah, think about it. Just go sit and spiral. Go do that on your own. We don’t have to show it for you.”
