In addition to his stand-up comedy specials, which kickstarted with Let A Playa Play in 2006, Williams also has an established acting career.

The comedian appeared as a recurring character in The Boondocks and The Tracy Morgan Show and received more recent smaller roles in Atlanta and Black-ish.

Netflix’s World War III

Katt Williams: World War III was released on May 17, 2022, and is the eighth stand-up comedy special released by the comedian and the second show on Netflix.

The streaming platform sets the special up by breaking down the contents of Willaims’ show: conspiracy theories.

Aptly titled World War III, Williams aims to “deliver the unfiltered truth” regarding lies, chicken wing shortages, and the war on drugs, filmed in Las Vegas.
