Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership once again – and Chris Sutton couldn’t resist the temptation to mock Rangers in the aftermath.

The Bhoys knew that a win over Dundee United would seal the title, but even a point would be enough too.

Giorgos Giakoumakis opened the scoring for Celtic at Tannadice, only for Dylan Levitt to rescue a point for Dundee United.

Ange Postecoglou may be unhappy with just a point but it doesn’t matter right now.

The Australian has become a champion in his first season as Celtic boss.

That’s quite the achievement given that some wondered how long the Australian would last in the job at first.

Postecoglou has proven his doubters wrong and Celtic can celebrate another title.

Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title – again!

Seeing Rangers win the title last season wasn’t easy for Celtic fans.

The dream of 10 titles in a row came to a crashing halt as Celtic endured a truly dismal season.

Neil Lennon went, Scott Brown moved on, Celtic tried – and failed – to bring in Eddie Howe and Odsonne Edouard was sold.

Make no mistake about it, Postecoglou faced an enormous job when he took over but he has taken it in his stride brilliantly.

Celtic have a clear identity on the pitch and a manager who has immediately connected with supporters.

Having already won the Scottish League Cup, Postecoglou now has two trophies to his name at Celtic.

Sutton mocks Rangers as Celtic win title

You can always bet on Chris Sutton to be mocking Rangers whenever Celtic do anything positive.

Tonight is no different as Sutton took to Twitter to claim that Postecoglou and Celtic had put Rangers ‘firmly back in their place’.

Winning the title back from Rangers with games to spare gives Celtic bragging rights – but the Gers may not even care at the moment.

Rangers play in the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt next week and that could even eclipse Celtic’s title win.

For now though, Sutton is just basking in Celtic’s glory.
