Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa made a long clearance that Liverpool defender Konate failed to judge.

The ball went straight to Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, who picked out Neto for an easy goal.

Former Liverpool player Stephen Warnock is following the match for BBC Sport, and he has slammed the £36 million defender (Sky Sports) Konate for his defending in the goal for Neto.

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate criticised

Warnock said about Konate’s mistake on BBC Sport: “The Wolves fans are ecstatic and they should be it’s a dream start for them. They’ve come to Anfield to upset a potential party.

“It’s a mistake from Ibrahima Konate who is in for Virgil van Dijk – he goes to get the header and reads the flight completely wrong, it goes over his head and Raul Jiminez latches onto the ball, it’s a simple tap in for Pedro Neto.”
