Amber Heard ‘storms’ out of court
A video of Amber Heard leaving the stand and walking out of the Fairfax County Court on Tuesday has gone viral on social media.
In the clip, the judge asks the actress’ lawyer Elaine Bredehoft if she has any more questions for Amber.
After looking through her notebook for a few seconds, she politely says “I don’t have any more questions, your honour”. So, the judge tells the 36-year-old she can leave the stand.
“Go and take a seat next to your attorney okay,” Judge Penney Azcarate says, before Amber gets up from her seat, grabs her water bottle and begins walking.
However, she doesn’t go and sit next to her attorney as asked, she instead walks straight out of the courtroom as an officer follows.
The judge then tells everyone that the court is stopping for a 15-minute “afternoon recess” and everyone stands up before exiting the court.
Viewers can’t believe Amber walked out
On Twitter, viewers are shocked that Amber exited the courtroom in that way.
She left the court before the judge and the jury, which is completely unheard of.
The actress certainly went against usual court etiquette and viewers are in disbelief.
Camille Vasquez hugs Johnny Depp
Amber walking out marked the end of her testimony and Johnny Depp’s lawyers were seen celebrating before going to a recess.
Clips show the Pirates of the Caribbean actor conversing with his top attorney Ben Chew before Camille Vasquez, who cross-examined Amber, walks over.
Camille hugs Ben, embraces Johnny twice and holds his hand. The 58-year-old then grins, clearly happy with the way the case was going on Tuesday.
The touching moment has gone viral on Twitter as viewers praise the actor’s legal team, who are from the firm Brown Rudnick.
