£51k-a-week striker Arsenal want has more goals than Kane and Ronaldo

Arsenal have been linked with Moussa Dembele, and the Gunners fans will be excited to know that the Lyon striker now has more league goals than Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

In March 2022, Foot Mercato reported that Manchester United and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been scouting the former Celtic striker regularly this season.

Arsenal need to sign at least two new strikers in the summer transfer window, and a bid from the North London club for Lyon could well come.

Dembele is 25 now, and, in our view, the Frenchman is at the right age to make the move from Lyon to Arsenal.

Lyon beat Nantes 3-2 at Stade des Lumieres on Saturday, and Dembele scored in the ninth minute.

It was the £51,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker’s 20th goal in Ligue 1 this season.

Dembele has scored only five fewer goals than Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe in the league this campaign.

England international striker Harry Kane has scored 15 goals in the Premier League for Tottenham this season, while Ronaldo has 18 goals in the league for Manchester United.
